Full Recap (video and pics) - Camaro vs. Dirt Road

This was too much fun.
My Camaro’s adventure up the Nate Harrison Grade on Palomar Mountain was (for the most part) pretty smooth. There were some bumpier sections, but they ended up being more germane to comic effect (see the video) than actually being obstacles.
Overall, I give the Camaro an 8/10 for handling the road. The suspension is a little stiff for this application, but I was never losing traction. The engine has plenty of torque to get up the hill too. No temperature issues either.
Where should I take it next?

@smallbear Is that the one in BC, Kenya or Turkmenistan?

Why not all four?
-
@gibbsemphasis have you considered a skid plate like what I've got on my Excelsior?
-
@smallbear Other places that could be called "Hell's Gate":
-
@carsoffortlangley best Philly cheese steaks are not found in Philly.
-
I did get an electric guitar this year, maybe I can learn one (1) song so I can do an international Highway to Hell multi-part roadtrip…
-
@nkato I’ve been researching them, likely going to have to measure on my Camaro and get a custom one fabricated. It does have a front-mounted oil cooler which will definitely benefit from protection.
Was yours custom or an off the shelf design?
-
@gibbsemphasis off the shelf from Setina, a police equipment vendor. They might have a kit for the Camaro.
Update: nope they don't. The key to a skid plate on a coupe is having the correct bolt points to ensure it won't drop off the car and pole vault you into a tree.

Its odd how true this is. But really a cheese steak is incredibly cheap and easy to make. So it's just dependent on the quality of bread. I think the best cheese steak would probably be made by a Vietnamese restaurant. Cheese steak banh mi!

This is a great photo. Your filming and production quality have been steadily improving. Keep going!
-
@pip-bip That’s a huge jump in distance compared to my current trips
but it’s tempting for sure.
-
@nermal thank you! Getting more practice is a big priority for me. Always appreciate the feedback on it too.
