DOTS: Town Wagon
-
I've been trying to get a photo of this thing for a while now. It's daily driven, or near enough. 1958-60something Dodge Town Wagon.
-
@mark-tucker That's an oddball choice for a classic daily. But in their defense, it is being used exactly as the name implies.
-
@whoistheleader I suppose it's as apropos as seeing a Suburban in the suburbs...
-
@mark-tucker Or seeing a Town and Country escaping the city to the lake for the weekend.
-
@mark-tucker Wow, I’ve seen exactly two of those in my life. One was a rusty heap, and the other was used by a local turf farm and landscaping company to drive around to local events.
-
@kiltedpadre I confess I didn't know what it was called; I had to look it up. I remember seeing one or two over the years, but yeah, nothing this nice.
-
@mark-tucker I see some big rotors behind the wheels. I wonder if its a body swap and a dodge frame or axle upgrade.
-
@brickman It's likely. It's a good way to go, but I think I might have skipped the modern factory alloys in favor of steelies or, dare I say it, Cragars. The modern wheels are really jarring when the rest of it looks so good.

I wonder if it's on a modern chassis?
