Car salespeople

Sitting at the bar eating dinner and at the end of the bar are three of the most stereotypical car sales guys I've ever seen.
So hard not to correct all the wrong stuff they are saying about cars, buyers, and what people really want.
-
@houstonrunner I work with a guy that bought a '02 Ranger because "it's a rebadged Mazda."
-
@dr-zoidberg And they just dropped a "not to be offensive, but Maria's English is really bad". I'm in San Antonio, so not a jump to assume Maria is Hispanic.

That would be true if he bought it anywhere in the eastern hemisphere.
-
@houstonrunner Well no offense to the guy, but I'm sure his Spanish is much worse.
-
@houstonrunner yeah what people want is to never have to interact with another car salesperson, or is that just me?
-
@tripper But who will protect consumers from the automakers?
-
@houstonrunner I follow r/askcarsales, and boy, some characters there are exactly who you'd expect.
@Dr-Zoidberg That's my dad's line anytime someone complains about people's accents. Added effect since he's Hispanic with a Hispanic name in SoCal, and his Spanish isn't that great.

LOL I was gonna say, sure, until you have to call on Maria to translate for you, fuckwad.

Which is exactly what I was thinking. San Antonio is a common "second home" for the wealthy from Mexico.

@tripper It's not just you.
