First, car related: Spotted this beast at the grocery store this summer. That's all I know.

And then this little bit of architecture that I just can't unsee.

It probably wouldn't bother me if I didn't have to look at it as I approach a junction. It's straight ahead, line of sight for me.

My in-laws have a house nearby, which is what brings me there. Generally, the homes have a decent look. My in-laws' house is nice, but partly because my father in law has designed kitchens for a living for like, 30 years, he's been in a zillion homes and seen what works, what doesn't, what looks good/right, etc. and they got a lot right at their house. Same kind of architecture but done properly.

Next time we're up there I'll get some more pics of this one, and maybe some others. There are some odd decisions here and there, that's for sure.
