Made in JAPAN
I needed to order these pins to install the head on my Miata. The original ones were kind of messed up and likely helped contribute to me messing up the valves on install. These aren't a super common replacement part though so I had to order OEM parts OVERNIGHTED FROM JAPAN. Except I found a rotary shop in Washington that was selling the parts I needed. I also needed the fuel rail spacers which are another non-common replacement part, which they also stocked for a good price. I just thought it was neat to have stuff marked "Made in Japan", especially for engine parts since the BP block is a Ford derivative part. Also, they included this neat pen and a business card in the package. This is not the first Rx7 focused shop that I have dealt with that now has Miatas as their primary market.

It's the unfortunate reality that there simply aren't that many rotaries left for them to work on. Here's hoping they can keep with the quirk and pick up a masters in...boxers?

Wait... what? Wherefrom d'you get that? Pretty sure it's at least a derivative of the E engines used in the Familia/323/GLC from 1980 and the even older F engines used on the B-series trucks and the Luce/626.
@aremmes Haha yeah I may be mistaken there

A rotary would be a contender for a swap if my Rampage ever needs a new block. Seems the Aussies have a thing for making some really sweet billet blocks. If I had the money....

Perfect, now I know of a shop in Washington that sells Miata parts. Should cut down shipping time when I need a part. Thanks!
