It's the whole thumb!
Seems to happen when you link rather than upload. Unsure of the solution at this time.

But yeah, don't embed a thumbnail unless it's under 200x200 or it'll fuck up formatting badly as it is rendered natively instead of shrunk like an upload. -

You have to upload a very small photo to a host, or just choose a photo from your post and deal with the fact that it's going to be square. I have taken one of my post photos and cropped it square and uploaded it just so I can have some control over how it appears.

I meant more of a solution to prevent it from happening if someone doesn't know any better. Long-term it shouldn't be possible to more or less break the page by linking to a large image - but right now it's pretty low priority.
