@jawzx2 That is pretty sweet. Often when I watch car shows and they're sanding something (old) down for paint and it gets to looking like that I'm like... "fuck it, just clearcoat is as-is that looks great!"

Thoughts:

A running roundie? 20k. Hard to say though, give it's current location and condition I'd imagine the floor is either Fred Flintstone or was and is now Freddy Kruger soon to be Fred Flintstone again. A roundie with a shifty seller and no bottom pics just went RNM yesterday or the day before on BaT...So maybe the market is cooling off a little bit.

Then of course its got a Ti or broken Tii badge...depending on what shakes out after a thorough inspection by purist assholes, it may take that 20k with no floor. My guess though is that while the chassis may be a Tii, nothing else remains.

Other thoughts:

I wish that trunk vibe covered the car, just gorgeous.

I'm a lot more careful about rust these days.

The guy who I mentioned bought that rusty 76' a few months back (We looked at it at night and I said the floor looks BAD)... Yeah the cheapest he could find to have that work done was 15k! That's paint too, but the shop didn't want the work if he wasn't going for everything.

The former owner of the car was quoted $5k by a local guy specializing in 2002's, but the quote was from a year before he sold it to my friend's dad. The guy who quoted it, packed up and moved to Florida! Terrible timing, like my wheels!

Anyway, I carry my "I'mma buy that Bimmer" gun with the safety on these days. I got super lucky with mine, I quietly think that every time I look at someone elses.

To formally answer your question, I think that car is worth 12-15k.
