Any day drinkers out there today?
-
I love an afternoon beer.
This one is delicious.
-
@noodles sometimes, because I am clumsy, I will accidently knock over a bottle of baileys and quite a bit of it will land in my morning coffee.
Carelessness....
-
@carsoffortlangley haha.
-
@carsoffortlangley You can't Drink All Day unless you start in the morning.
-
@noodles Not on work days, now if it was a weekend and I had nothing going on, might as well have one. That said, I have been working to cut down on my drinking as I was imbibing more than I should before.
-
@thomas-donohue You have to get up pretty early in the morning to get drunk by 1:00
-
@noodles Nope but that is my #1 beer, cheers.
-
Bloody Caesar on the weekends, sometimes a Vodka & Tonic or Mojito mid afternoon. Never during work hours
-
@noodles I am very bad at day drinking so I tend to avoid it. Either I sober up to early and have to take a nap or I wake up in a gutter a week later with me memory of what happened.
-
@noodles Not usually, but you talked me into it. Sippin and pickin always go well together.
PS - I love Bell's and am a little jealous.
-
Not since I started a new job last Thursday. Last Wednesday I had tacos and beer for lunch though.
-
@sweedsinthestable hell yea!
-
I wish.
-
I normally have a drink before my end-of-week meetings where I hand-off to the weekend guy. I'll definitely be doing that today
-
@noodles Normally only drink during the work day when my team and I would head to the bar down the street from the office for fish tacos. Since the pandemic started I've kept it to outside of work hours otherwise I'd be 100lbs heavier. That being said, I have been known to partake in a 10am Irish coffee.
Love me some two hearted. Have you tried the two hearted double IPA? It's DELICIOUS.
-
@noodles Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to operate vehicles and power tools all day. Sometimes ya just need a little something extra to carry away the stupid. Drinking during work hours tends to be frowned upon here though.
We did have a parts guy that was shitfaced 90% of the time though, that was pretty great.

@carsoffortlangley My Irish coffee recipe I got from a bar called "The Dead Rabbit" located in the finance district in NYC. It's considered one of the best cocktail bars in the world and this is one of their signature drinks.
1 jigger of Demerara Sugar simple syrup.
2 jiggers of Irish Whiskey
Coffee (I normally do a shot of espresso with hot water ala Americano)
Heavy cream whipped and floated on the top of the coffee:

That shit is delicious.

Yes and yes. There happens to be a brewpub about 200 feet from my office. Beers during lunch yesterday and planning tomorrow as well.
-
@bloody-the-resident-shitposting-saffer that looks really good! I typically steam some milk, bloop (techincal term) in some irish cream and add coffee.
-
@noodles Give me another hour or so and I'm pretty sure the mezcal will be opened...
-
@carsoffortlangley cocktail shaker makes a good come along heavy cream whipper in a pinch.
-
I drink coffee and water during the day.
-
@noodles well hell, ya talked me into it
