Start the day with an hour long walk (DOTS & doggo content within)

Edwin gets 3 walks a day, and for his first today we ended up going about 2-3x his usual prescribed distance. Found a little suburban trail and followed it for a while:

After the end of the trail, found this in a little neighborhood. It was a manual (I checked, naturally) and the interior looked pretty clean.

Checked my GPS app since we’d taken a new trail, and saw the main road was just a little further. Upon getting to the main road, we were confronted with a hefty gate — somehow, the trail had led us inside a fancy gated community.

Looking around and seeing the uniformly cut grass and fancier vehicles, we decided to backtrack and sneak out of the HOA’s sovereign territory with all due haste. Walk naturally, Edwin, pretend you’re not a rescue doggo…

There was a brand-new Ford Bronco, but no pic of that because we were trying our best to backtrack without looking suspicious.

Eventually, we got back to the trail and main road and got all the way back home. Solid start to the day.

Edwin is a cutie. Johnny says hi. Well, he's passed out, I say hi on his behalf.

@gibbsemphasis Yeah, it's my favorite part of where I live, that's like, literally a 5 min walk from my front door. I'm riiiiiiiiight on the edge of our 2.8M person urban hellscape.

I live near nature, but also a 10 minute uber to the skytrain (our mass transit system)

Well, poop mode I guess
