Decembirbs advent calendar days 4 and 5!

Day 4 brought us Luke Birdwalker, who had to go to Toche station with Baltimore Oriole to get me a new computer. My old one completely bricked itself, which is why I haven't posted on the Hyphen in a couple days. But luckily nothing of value was lost besides a half-finished school assignment and a ton of rare information on an obscure car, which is going to be a pain in the butt to find and transcribe again. Oh well, I probably should have known better than to not save it somewhere else
Live and learn...
Day 5 brought us a tiny Razor Crest! Western Tanager wonders if a tiny Baby Yoda (or Grogu or whatever) lurks within...
Day 5 also brought me the new computer. It's awesome. I have no idea what it is and I've already forgotten the brand name, but it's very cool-looking and has cool red lights and stats with big numbers that I don't understand other than that it's lightyears ahead of my old laptop. I can totally run Blender off of this thing if I want! Which, among other things, means the Lego Miata project is back on. As soon as I get some spare time after finals week, I shall begin to dabble in renders

The only positive of a computer failure is the new computer that follows it. They’ve been advancing at light speed the last 3 years and it’s awesome.
The last several years I’ve been dumping everything into OneDrive. We use the family subscription so it gives us 1TB storage each so redirecting my docs and such into it has allowed me to seamlessly move between computers (for the most part).

Does Luke Birdwalker ever not walk on birds? There sure are a lot of birds that need to be trod on around the place, but eventually he'll run out, right?
Sucks about the laptop but at least now you'll have one that's much better. Backup your stuff to the cloud though. Always!
