Down on Ugly Street. Sorry, not a big Bimmer fan to begin with, but in real life that grill looks like a mistake to me.

@thomas-donohue There are two with the huge nostril grill in my building's garage and I hate them. Luckily, they are on the lower floor of the garage so I rarely see them.

@thomas-donohue Check who is BMW largest and quickest growing market. See what their taste is like. Understand why BMW is doing what it is doing.
I still don’t understand why they wouldn’t design a different facia for the US and Euro markets, but they probably thought about this.

@thomas-donohue uugh so ugly
There one in my town and I make an annoyed face whenever I see it and hope the owner sees me. Whoever buys these should be deeply ashamed...

@thomas-donohue Not only do big BMW fans agree with you, they think the rest of the car is a mistake, too!

@thomas-donohue I didn't even cross shop BMWs when I bought my S4 because I just can't get past how bad that looks.

@thomas-donohue i keep seeing around the last month and just can't get past it seems like 3 car designed shoved together. the grill could work if the edges of the fenders had a boxy edge like a ct5, but nothing seems like it goes togther.

@thomas-donohue It doesn't even look like it was designed for the car, looks like a cheap aftermarket stick-on accessory someone ordered off of Amazon to hide some expensive bumper damage or something.

@thomas-donohue I hated it at first, but I don't mind it quite so much now. It also looks slightly better when there's a licence plate on there to break it up. The rest of the 4 coupé is pretty disastrous though; the new 4 Gran Coupé looks a lot better. Anyway, most modern cars are ugly, so it's not unique in that respect.
