I'm tired of this...

Or maybe you could say I nailed it...
Before getting the third puncture in as many months; things were quite good...
-
Dammit! I can relate, with both bike tires and wheelchair tires.
-
Photo reminds me of a 2" long brad I picked up. A bit skinnier with no sealant leak or air loss. I wasn't convinced it wasn't a flat piece of metal stuck to the tread until I removed it. Convinced me of the right choice switching to tubeless.

@vincentmalamute pouts in budget spec non-tubeless-compatible rims
-
@chariotoflove Oh that must be such a pain!
-
@spacekraken oh sorry. I assumed you had tubeless since I saw the disc brakes. A few weeks ago, I picked up another puncture and it immediately deflated. Plugging it was so much easier and faster than patching a tube.
-
@vincentmalamute No don't be sorry haha! Like we were talking about in the other thread, bit hesitant to upgrade a bunch of parts on this bike since I might swap it for something with a slightly nicer build kit long term. But I might well go for a set of nicer wheels (lightweight tubeless, probably 700c since the bike can clear them) since they could carry over to a lot of other bikes too.

I’ve learned to travel with an emergency tire change kit. I’ve changed wheelchair tires in hotel rooms and in airport terminals between flights.

@spacekraken I pulled a nail out of a tire on my sons bike, sealant just squirted out onto the garage floor.
