Found this while searching for info on my car: https://www.genuinegmparts.com/src/pdf/resources/1960-2020_Vincards.pdf The company seems to be throwing together a new heritage site, didn't use to have this kind of useful info. I'm a sucker for archived info.
Looks like you can also download dealer info manuals back to like the 30s or whatever:

Cool! I'll have to look up my truck on there. Sadly, the RPO tag in the glovebox is almost illegible, but the VIN tag on the door is ok still, I think.

@bandit I wonder if there's a Canada decoder, since apparently Canadian VINs are slightly different on the older trucks.

Interesting how in the VIN card it says my Solstice is supposed to have "inflatable roof restraints".
