Mr. Regular said in World's most unexpected parody?:

        Did General Motors do this?
        Did Mopar do this?
Who cares, my car has no fuel.

🤣 Gave me a good chuckle.

I actually feel bad. He put a TON of money and time into the car and it was inconvenience after inconvenience. I know that's not the point, but he hit his breaking point. And the overheating problem was never fixed...

@essextee LOL I understood that reference!

Say, anybody watch the South Main Auto channel? Eric O finds an excuse in many of his videos to use brake cleaner, and plays this sound effect each time:

I'm pretty sure that's what this recent Technology Connections video was trying to reference:

            1995 Mustang GT
            1998 Wrangler Sport

@dr-zoidberg I think that's why he kept it for so long. He became a "car guy" after owning it. He did an engine swap, built a 302, got the car moving under it's own power and dealt with issue after issue. He's done all that he can and now he wants to move into something else.

Before the Falcon, his reviews don't really get into mechanical issues and mechanical perspective. Now he gets into details if noticed, which I think help his reviews in a lot of ways.

              2014 Mini Paceman S
              1995 Ford Probe GT

I've never really "kept up" with Regular Car Reviews but I do remember seeing the videos on building it... and then he just went silent on it for ages. I have a feeling he was never really happy with how it came out.

I didn't realize it was being sold until a couple days ago I saw it on BaT and thought "that looks like the regular car guy's" and down the listing saw his videos on it.

I seem to remember there being a lot of "sponsor" parts during the build - I wonder if there was stipulation on him keeping/using the car for some length of time attached to that (or if he just felt an obligation to keep it all this time because of what it is for the channel).

Craigslist will push me, and I'll say no; read my lips: no new projects.

@mm54 It was awkward because his buddy did so much work on it, but it was never quite right like you said...

@essextee OK, now I want to see Car Wizard do a whole video in character as Scotty Kilmer.

Wait, no, I don't. Nobody wants that.
