I just formatted this all over on DriveTribe, so does anyone mind if I just link it here? It's really long...

On Haynes manuals, DIY ethos, and right-to-repair

"The previous owner did that; it's been like that since I bought it."

Totally fine. It’s only a click away!

@mark-tucker One of the things I find sorely, seriously lacking on DT is any sort of text formatting. No bold, no italics. Frankly, it keeps me from posting some of my aviation stuff over there.

If you want a divider that runs across most of the page, you can use this. It's a 3x1000 pixel line that I use here on the Hyphen. You can drop it into an image frame on DT and it will turn the whole box black, but it renders as a line in the final version.

@mark-tucker Definitely feel free to do this - @Jb-boin and myself are working on an iframe engine too which should make these things look better.

It’s a solid read there and I’d comment over there but am being crotchety and my ipad got logged out on DT and I don’t want to go through the annoying email process to login.

My favorite part of them is the specs, sometimes it’s hard on the internet just to get a straight answer for the simple oil capacity and wt question. You’ll get a million different opinions, but I just want what the damn manufacturer says.

            They will definitely be missed
