We’ve reached peak frozen pizza
-
Haven’t eaten it yet but I don’t see how it won’t be at least edible.
-
@snakesm13 Ah but is the croissant crust stuffed with stuffed crust pepperoni pizza?
-
@snakesm13 the consensus is that looks amazing.
-
380 Calories per 1/5 pizza, plus some high sat. fat + sodium numbers
It must be tasty. I don't think we get that kind around here.

I saw that but who cuts their pizza in 5ths? Why was that the serving size they went with?
-
Well I'm adding that to my grocery list, and I don't usually do frozen pizza.
-
I vetoed this a few grocery trips ago.
-
@snakesm13 you’d have to be a psychopath to cut your pizza into fifths.
-
@snakesm13 lol I was thinking of Xzibit but was too lazy to add a meme.

Then what won? Little Caesars?
-
Oh this was just a pizza to live in the freezer until we were lazy enough to need it. We did make some from scratch the other day if you want to check my older post @Snakesm13
-
@italia Yes! You were the one that posted the video of the super chill dude teaching you to make your own dough.
-
Dr.Oetker thin crust pizza is better
-
@snakesm13 This is one of the better frozen pizzas out there, and my go-to if it's on sale. I usually buy some take-and-bake thing and modify it, but that croissant crust makes it better than my best TNB.
I usually go for deep-dish frozen pizzas, modified, of course. The two below are amongst the best in that variety:
-
@manwich Can’t say I’ve ever seen that in the stores.
-
@manwich Agreed, especially that mozzarella & pesto one.
-
@snakesm13 haha yeah rob is a cool dude he also has a band called night marcher which is chill if you want to look them up.
-
@6mt_ftw I’ll keep an eye out but those don’t look familiar. The best so far is Screamin’ Sicilian but it’s usually sold out so our go to is Freschetta but apparently my wife saw this and here we are.
-
@snakesm13 I have a hard time finding The Dish pizza. There was a supermarket chain around here that carried it, but they went out of business, or at least departed this metro area. The interesting thing is that I can usually find it at the locations that that chain used to operate but are now operated by a competitor. I can usually find Gino's East at some of the more upscale markets, but not always. I'll have to give Screamin' Sicilian a try - I've seen them at various stores but usually stick to known quantities.
-
@snakesm13 Serving sizes are generally based on government surveys conducted in the '70s and '80s. It's well known that these results don't reflect modern consumption well (if they ever did). To counter that some items have had their reference serving size adjusted, while others have had labeling adapted to reflect the fact that a normal person is just going to eat the whole thing. They probably should be redoing their surveys, though even then it's tricky when you have items that might be consumed as a snack, side dish, entrée, or as a full meal.

@snakesm13 I want it

Me too, but I have to wait for pizza Friday!
-
@snakesm13 buy it now and eat it Friday. Otherwise if you go to store Friday to buy it the CroPizza
will be sold out

How about cut into a pentagram?
