Got some fishing in

Went out yesterday with my cousin to see if we could catch some bass. This kid knows how to really fish, so it was nice to get a lesson from someone who knows what they’re doing and can relate to my minimalist style. I figured it might have been too warm, but was hoping the morning monsoons would cool the water off a bit. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, and a couple of dickhead jet skiers kept us from casting into the deeper sections of the lake (one guy brapped right through our lines which were in a no wake section before pestering some leisure boaters who eventually stopped their boat to get this guy away from them). We got some solid bites, but no lunch. The views and relaxation were worth it, though.
