What the Sam hell is this?

      alt text

And this is how you control it?

The 13 foot model starts at $27k CAD, so if you want this 100 horsepower oddity, it's almost affordable?

EDIT: for $2k more you can get a 170 hp model with the same 13 foot length. Do that, be a hero.

That is the weirdest and yet most awesome thing ever!

I can imagine this is great for fisherman who want a more stable platform to fish off of instead of straddling a ski-doo on the water.

@cb What. The. Shit. is this thing? This has to be the goofiest new watercraft on the market.

            Enjoy every sandwich.

@cb It looks like they made a boat out of Tom Dempsey's foot.

@cb Brought to the CUV buyer, because they obviously lack judgement. Why not make stupid watercraft too..

@cb So it's a party barge for a party of one? Why go pontoon if you're going to have something so short?

@cb The hell is even the purpose here. I can't think of anything this does that wouldn't be better served by a different style of boat.

@cb They like them because of the upright seating positing and better outward visibility.

Buy one of these instead: 5b0e2b1b-4102-4821-b7bd-a68fe55d896c-image.png

It's for people who like to party reasonably.

@cb Apparently even the small one holds 5 people. And for just a few dollars a week more, you can upgrade to the 230hp 21' and bring 8 friends with you.

I like how the video shows a family enjoying a bbq with a nice spread on the table. They didn't show the part where the other asshole on a sea bee ripped by too close and they had to scramble to keep everything from falling off the table.

It might just fit in a single car garage on it's trailer.... That gets rid of a monthly storage fee.

I think they've just made the starter boat for people who aren't sure they want a boat.

@cobrajoe I've seen plenty of 16'-18' boats, with outboards, fit in a standard garage, this would obviously fit even better but I doubt that was the intent.

It's like a miniature party barge for jet ski bros who want to hang with their other jet ski bros but don't have the money for a totally rad Supra/Nautique or whatever the hot shit ski boats currently are, but still want a bit of that street cred that a real deal cool-dad pontoon won't give them.

Edit: The longer ones make some sense, it's basically a jet powered pontoon with some neat features, the 13' one though, IDK.

@cb That's a Can-Am UTV for the water. They'll likely be seen near each other at the launch ramp.

@cb I like this. I'd prefer a regular three seat Seadoo, but I can see the value of this as a personal water craft for me and my girls.
