@e90m3 I used to work as a sales manager at a big chewing gum and confections company, not going to say the name, for the sake of anonymity, but it was out of Chicago and the family that used to own it also owned a ballpark. Anyway, the old guy that trained me had been with them since the 70s and mentioned that the whole company had a massive culture of cocaine abuse during the 80s, but that that was also when the whole sales and marketing operation was really functioning at its best. Apparently, people could sell the hell out of gum when they were high on cocaine

@mr-ontop buddy of mine who's almost 60 used to work as a traveling ski equipment salesman, he's got stories from the 80's... Says he used to do a lot of coke back then "but then it got too expensive, so I quit." he's a soild pot-head and drinks too much, but as far as I know he hasn't done coke since then. Used to pretty much live in his Audi 4000 and made $50k+ a year (back then) selling gear and ski-bumming when he wasn't selling... Ah," the good ol' days..."
