I used to work in a building that was next to an interstate highway. About 15 years ago, the windows of a conference room at my office were broken out when an unsecured wheel came crashing through. The glass was shattered and the wall below the window was moved in 4 inches. Fortunately, nobody was in that room at the time.

The vehicle that lost the wheel stopped nearby. It wasn't a pickup with unsecured wheels in the bed. It was a large dump truck with an unsecured wheel on a rear axle.
