Question.
-
Does anyone else's dog club them when they try to lie down on the couch for two minutes? The came the panting and attempt to lick my ears...
-
@dr-zoidberg aww... you're not giving him all the attention, you meanie!
-
@dr-zoidberg Oh yes. You get at their level, you are fair game. Ripley's favorite trick is to lunge up and put her paws on your shoulder and nip your nose (not hard, just playful) and then lick your face.
-
@dr-zoidberg I get snout boops.
-
@dr-zoidberg
It took a whole two minutes? No, not normal. It took way too long. Better take her to the vet to see what's wrong. -
@dr-zoidberg No, but I have had toys flung at high rates of speed towards my face.
-
@dr-zoidberg No, mine was already snoring.

@dr-zoidberg
Hey there Luna, hiya girl.
are you giving daddy some love, good girl.
It's been a while since I've seen Luna.
I hope all of you are doing well. -
@dr-zoidberg Our neighbour's dog does that to me when I crouch down to pet him. Our other friend's dog punts my wife's crotch with her snout. Like full speed nose-to-crotch interaction.
-
@dr-zoidberg My boy just scoots over and curls up at my feet, which is ideal really.
-
I get no say in the matter. As soon as I get home, my dog must lick my face... until she is done. By done I mean tired and walks away. If I try to resist, I get the paw on my head.... or her full body on my chest. Resistance is futile.
-
@dr-zoidberg I know the feeling
-
@dr-zoidberg In my house that usually means that Enzo wants to take my spot on the couch. Or play. Get up to play and 50/50 I lose my spot on the couch.
-
@dr-zoidberg Our dog has taken over the couch.
Also, our dog is more of a cat. He always wants to know where we are and be in the room with us, he is otherwise the least affectionate dog I've ever seen. We are permitted to give him 1 to 2 minutes of belly rubs in the morning, and when I get home from work I get to give him a scritch and he gives me a kiss, and thats it. -
@dr-zoidberg No, but my cat likes to jump up and meow in my face and gently bat me with her feet to tell me I'm not giving her enough attention at that specific moment in time...

Sounds like Malamute personality. They can spare you a little of their time but they've got their own things to do.
-
@dr-zoidberg I think you're trespassing on that dog's own personal couch.
