If an Audi RS wagon exists and Doug is not there, does it really exist?

Wait until the Skoda Superb scouts start rolling in.
VW have slated Australia for it's very high sulphur petrol and the Scout 200TSi has a PPF, and Skoda have said all it'll take is about five cheap tanks of Australian 91 petrol to knacker the filter, costing Aus$1,500 each to replace. -
@svend the owners will be claiming its a warranty issue. then the filter will be on backorder for ages. oh joy!
-
@pip-bip apparently Australian petrol has five times the sulphur of European petrol.
But VW/Skoda have made the car available to Oz to see how they go, and anticipate the sales going to a niche customer who would care more about the car and look after it.
But that's why many emergency services went for the Octavia Scout, because the Octavia is so robust and the Scout simply has more clearance and plastic moulding to protect the main body from knocks. -
@svend our petrol is such good quality (not really) i forsee they will be a big issue
-
@pip-bip
Me to. I put a message on the Skoda FB site asking why the U.K. isn't getting the Superb Scout (was told months ago it's because they weren't going to make an RHD version), but Australia is. Taking into account the U.K. is such a big market for Skoda. Was told to contact my main dealer as it's the importers that decide what will be on sale here in the U.K. -
@svend odd not going to the UK.
