i do love a speedster, but this feels so far from anything production that it's not very interesting.

one headline advertised it as a "self-driving roadster", which seems dumb as hell. the whole point of a roadster is fun, while the self-driving part is designed to sap all enjoyment and engagement out of the experience.
but i read on. it's meant to be able to be both, fun at times and self-drivey at others.

So basically what we're looking at is a super-expensive kiddie ride. Just missing a coin box to insert coins to start it.

If I was going to go for a self driving convertible, I'd get one huge and comfortable with a wide open top.

If you're not in control of the drive, you should at least be able to see the scenery in comfort.
