      https://dmc-watch.com/

These ads have been showing up in my Facebook feed for awhile now. Interesting that someone's licensed the name. They seem to use decent quality Japanese movements, but I don't know anything about the rest - workmanship, etc. Prices are pretty cheap, but still more than I'd spend for a novelty watch I'd be OK with throwing out if it turned out to be junk. Also, most of them are fairly attractive, but I have to say there isn't really anything about the designs that would make me associate them with the DMC-12, you could almost slap any defunct car brand on them and they'd work just as well.

Anyone know anything more about this company, or have some insight into their products? Piqued my interest, at least.

This one looks kind of neat, I guess the ribbing on the face is meant to recall the plastic louvers on the cars.

Neat, but isn't it technically 'DWC' then?

It needs a brushed stainless steel case.

@chariotoflove yeah, that would help with the resemblance

@ranwhenparked I will say, that otherwise, I like this for a daily watch if it's of at least Fossil quality. It goes with everything, and I always like date windows, even if analog ones need to be adjusted for the odd month.
