@sampsonite24 Once I found National and the aisle it was my rental car company of choice for travel. Still mostly bland choices, but better than the base vehicles I would have from Hertz / Avis. Plus after a year of renting at Newark I was recognized enough that I could ask what cars they were about to bring around and get to pick.

Seriously. I had so many rentals over the years I was working in Houston, that they gave me my pick of the lot and only charged me for a full-size car.

I had that. It’s usually limited to any cars in a class. I rented a compact, and they told me pick one of any in this section. The section was mostly Versas, Altimas, and there was a Juke. I picked the red Juke.

Haha, me too. That was my trick. Book on emerald club and grab something from the executive aisle…I don’t think the kiosk person ever corrected me.
