Two interesting choices here. The E46 M3 may be at or near it's peak, while the Aston may be at the bottom. What say you lot?

@st80mnd M3 always and forever. It's the one car I would pay more money than is reasonable for, I have always wanted one and should have looked at them harder back in 2015 when I was looking for a new (used) car.
-
@st80mnd M3. I don't do well in the sun.
-
@zaphod-s-heart-of-gold I tend to agree, but it is very rare to see any Aston for under 30.

@st80mnd Hot take: DB7s have aged poorly and are really quite ugly compared to the DB9 and succeeding Astons. I personally think the E46 M3 is far and away the better looking of these 2 cars, will drive better and more comfortably, and will be more reliable. The silver doesn't do the car any justice but I WANT ONE SO BAD
-
@st80mnd I don't think the E46 is near it's peak, they seemed to have just bottomed out. Even with the wrong transmission, I'll take the M3. That Aston is the wrong color, with the wrong body, with the wrong transmission. If that were a green coupe with a stick, I'd rather have that than an SMG M3. Since it's not, M3 all day long.
-
@st80mnd M3, I have enough cougars in my life as it is.
-
@st80mnd M3 obvi but I'd be swapping out that garbage SMG, quickfast
-
@st80mnd Well, the M3 is the better car, but, since neither would be a rational choice, I'll go with the Aston
