WAT?!?!?!, over The Snyder Cut?!?!?!
Anyway, hope to watch it soon on HBOMAX.
-
@boredalways the Snyder cut was great but it’s another save the world movie, this one is not about saving the world, again and again…
-
@highlander hows the soundtrack?
coz the first one had an awesome soundtrtack...as did birds of prey -
@highlander
Now I know what happened to Takeshi Kovac’s sleeve. -
@farscythe the soundtrack was the only good thing about the first one.
-
Just watched it. I was bored. Too many F words. But I'm old.
-
The best part of the soundtrack by far was Jim Carrol. Although I feel like the song was misplaced, as Carrol's song is about close friends of his who died for various reasons, while its use in the movie was more about glorifying death.
-
@mr-ontop true that
-
@ttyymmnn soooo... what you are saying is the soundtrack is great?
-
@highlander so this one is better than the first clusterfuck?
-
@ttyymmnn Flustered by frequent and fervent f-words for fear of a failed society without a functional vocabulary?
Fuck, that's no fun.
-
@ttyymmnn
But the gratuitous violence was fine, I'm sure.... -
@highlander
If a dud and its reboot makes a series then I am clearly mystified by popular culture... -
@pip-bip I think that's the point, It's supposed to be unhinged and chaotic.
-
@ttyymmnn when you watch something that uses a giant star fish as a villain you have to turn off part of your brain.
-
@highlander like when i watched Transformers... six? teen? My son loves them, so I'll watch them, and I can certainly understand why a 5-13 year old boy would be mesmerized by them, but you absolutely have to not analyze it.
Also Bumblebee was great.Any one seen Tomorrow War? that was great, and had an very wholesome message about people getting second chances, and the importance of family, but MAN talk about a movie you can't analyze. Its got plot holes like some one hit the script with bird shot.
-
No, that got to be too much also.
-
Yeah, I get that. It’s not a documentary.
-
can we talk about the name? what the fuck is with the name? did they forget to name it? isn't the whole point of names to help differentiate things from other things?
-

I am all for forgiving plot holes when the rest of the movie is good. Tomorrow War's plot holes were galactic sized. I also couldn't wrap my mind around Chris Pratt as action hero instead of self-deprecating and humorous. Funny and kinda hero in Guardians of the Galaxy was fine. Action hero only in Tomorrow War wasn't.

One of my favorite songs. Plus we're getting into that age when my mind is frequently playing this song whenever someone I know has died.
-
@pip-bip I went to see it today. Its a MUCH better movie than the first one.
-
I'm kind of afraid to commit to watching it. I haven't enjoyed the DC movies much at all since Nolan (I'm a comics Batman fan) and I think that the Harley animated series may have ruined anything that might try with the characters now. =/
-
@anyunusedusername I kind of liked her series.
