OK, I think I've got it. (For ttyymmnn)

@ttyymmnn I think I've figured a bunch of the stuff out you were looking for.
For separators, use a triple underscore. "___", but in it's own line.
For heading text, use a hyphen in the line below the heading. "-", but again in it's own line.
An equals sign placed in exactly the same way will do the same, but bigger. "="
- Hyphens are also for bullet points, and the system is smart enough that as soon as you start in the same line as the hyphen, it won't just automatically make a heading in the line above.
Asterisk at each end of a given phrase for italics. "*"
Some things can also be combined if need be.
I'm sure there's more but this is what I've been able to figure out so far.

Oh man, nice work @Smallbear
Adding this to the User Guide! -
This is fantastic, thanks. I'll fiddle with it later today.
-
Hyphens for The Hyphen!
-
But are you equal to it?
-
@smallbear said in OK, I think I've got it. (For ttyymmnn):
When you use the triple underscore, does it show up in the preview pane? The formatted text does.
-
@ttyymmnn Seems to show up for me? I'm in the middle of adding a section in the User Guide for these formats that @Smallbear found and I'm pretty sure I see the line in the preview?.
-
@ttyymmnn It does, but not very distinctly.
-
@Smallbear oh man. I fiddled with SO many HTML tags to try and get different sizes or coloured text. Great job!
-
@sn4cktimes I found these by total accident. Sometimes that's what it takes.
