I know it's bad to take photos while driving, but I was stuck at a Florida redlight, which burn red for about 3 minutes a pop.

You got the real PHAT tires, the three different hooks for various hook related things. The sticker on the right side of the rear mirror says they're part of the Orlando Jeep Club... whodathunk?

      But if you look closer...

      IMG_1622.JPG

First of all, you got the funny license plate border, which is why I took the picture, but it was only when I looked at these again that I spotted the Jeep taillights. Very Jeepy indeed.

Shame this person's a Steelers fan... bleh...

I like the "no problem" "problem" license plate border. It's not an obnoxious build and I like it. Though I'll reserve judgement until the verdict is in on the size of the sidewalls.

@flatisflat Yeah, I can guarantee I wouldn't be able to safely wrangle those tires without putting myself in hospital.

            On walkabout. Back soonish.

@just-jeepin I had 35x12.5’s on my JK. It only had a Dana 30 front. It did alright.

It did however eat unit bearings and suspension bushings for breakfast and tore through coils/shocks like crazy. Steering pump is up to the task though.

1/10 for one very specific reason: there's not a spec of dirt or mud on it. Boo.

@sn4cktimes I was thinking about my back and trying to swap out a flat tire.

@just-jeepin oh. Yeah my 35’s were heavy. I think with tire and steel wheel they were like 110-120lbs each. The extra height did not make dealing with the spare very easy. I rotated it with the other four tires for even-ish wear. Getting that much weight onto the lugs was awkward.

@whoistheleader It didn't look like it had a snorkel or any crazy front bumper, so I could get behind it too! Still, fatter tires than I'd ever need haha.

@spacekraken Yeah, I had my doubts that this Jeep was ever used for mudding and such, though it's built to look the part.

@taylor-martin It definitely looks the part, but yeah that look is kind of invalidated a bit by the lack of any signs of use 😉

Oh for sure. Also that photo really drives home how much smaller the TJ is haha!

@pip-bip As a Ravens fan by residency, it's almost an obligation for me to not like them. Though I'm more of a Packers fan, and we beat them in Superbowl 45 which is all that matters, right?
