@jminer A place to post bikes again. Two Wheels Good!
Images seem to upload well. NOICE! -
@sn4cktimes I do love your combo of vehicles! I almost bought an eagle wagon 2 years ago, but it was burning coolant which made it a bigger project than I wanted at the time. It was very clean otherwise.

@jminer The straight 6 is a pretty worker friendly engine. Changing a head gasket wouldn't be too bad on it. The biggest hassle is all the older emissions equipment on it. So many vacuum tubes and connections that can go bad. The double barrel Carter carb is also a hot mess. I would sometimes have to physically stick my finger into the throttle body to override the electrical/double-vacuumed/physical armature controlled choke and have someone turn the key to start it in cold weather. I ripped all that out, had the engine bored out and rebuilt with an Edelbrock head, installed a Mopar multipoint fuel ignition kit into it, and customer a set of Cherokee AFE headers... it's currently got an electrical issue keeping it from running. It's got other minor issues but I've been trying to work through them too. I wish I had put together a Holley kit instead of the Mopar kit. The Mopar gear still uses a proprietary OBD1 port with pretty limited functionality. The Holley kit would let me program my power curves and shift points a lot better with my 3 speed auto trans. But as a car... it's a rolling couch with truck-like torque. Once I get the ignition system running consistently, have the suspension and brakes all updated I think the next MAJOR project will be to convert this to a manual.
Edit: another option would have been to strip the emissions equipment and just throw on a "proper" Edelbrock or Holley carb. That likely would have been all kinda of easier. -
A shot from this summers Oppo Rally.

@jminer I agree. Still using the XT as my daily.

@hfv Isn't it glare ice up there? Especially on N side of hills and buildings.
I couldn't look a block in any direction anywhere I was today without seeing 2" thick rutted ice somewhere on a driving surface that would be impossible to avoid.
