@RallyDarkstrike I think you're right, all good just figured I'd pose the question since there might have been a simple solution. Thanks for the feedback.

@pyroholtz If you use chrome you can set the site to display in desktop mode which will disable those, but then the text will be tiny.

@jminer desktop, hadn't considered that, good call. It does make the font quite small though, thanks for the suggestion.

@pyroholtz only just seen the issue you're having, I've just recently swapped to using the gesture navigation on the p6p and the side menu on the right tends to come out if you start swiping in line with the profile picture so if you are wanting to do back navigation make sure you are starting right on the edge of the screen

@SamV8 This is what I've found to work on my p6a. The problem is my consistency when using gestures. I'm often a little sloppy in where I start my swipe and it causes issues.

@jminer Do you have any idea what this popup is? Didn't think there was an app, and it goes away after a few seconds.

@MisterButtercup it's a progressive web app, let's you have an icon for OPPO that's basically an instance that runs in its own web session.

Just hit ignore and it'll go away. Every once in a while it'll pop back up and ask again.

I don't know where this should go, so delete or move it @Curators .
We've been getting regular spammage recently, and I know that some of you are having to deal with it.
The bikeforums site has a restricted user permissions period which helps. They block any new user from posting URL's or pictures for two days and 10 posts. Spammer scum are unlikely to hang around for that.
Just a suggestion, I don't know whether that would work or not here.

We’ve got pretty good coverage to delete them pretty quick but yes, it’s annoying and takes away from the user experience. Some sort of new user post restriction could be implemented but that comes with issues as well.
We’re trying for a good balance, including scanning the User list and proactively banning obvious spam accounts before they post.

@drVanTraveler This is a good point. Pictures and urls are just text in our composer here so it's be difficult to restrict those. There is maybe some other restrictions we can put in place though, I'll look into it.
