Time to boogie down. Got any big plans for the weekend? My biggest plan for this weekend is to sleep in.

This is a picture of me and my mom at the Outer Banks, would have been 78 or 79. Not sure if there's enough of the Thunderbird rental to be definitive. @Rusty-Vandura would probably know.

Wife’s 95 year old Grandma passed. She had a good life, was sassy as fuck, was ready to go, and died in her sleep. Fucking nailed it. So it’s sad because she’s gone, but not a sad situation.

@ttyymmnn Imma spend time at the boat. Not sailing or anything related, but prepping it for launch next week. I got new batteries in last weekend, and this weekend I'll move the ground cable around to where it belongs so that the electrical panel gets power. Then I have to install a connector for the wires that go up the mast to power the lights, and replace the VHF plug on the antenna end of the coax. And replace the deck plates in the cockpit. And install the drain plug. And clean the cabin some more. I should get some beers to bring in a cooler with me, methinks.

Still stomping around DC. Went near the White House today. Experienced our first Presidential lockdown when some yokel scaled the barrier fence and jumped inside. The Secret Service lady we spoke with was quite nice.

Gonna catch up on MotoGP (I think I missed the past two races) and the last WRC rally highlights.

Gonna take a weekend break from running since I did a personal best today. My legs could use a couple of days off.

Other than that, probably gonna spend some time with a lady at the park on Saturday and otherwise just relax and be lazy.

Wow. I had to read that three times. What a tribute. Funerals can be a great time to enjoy family and eat food and laugh about good times. No shame in any of that.
