@hammerheadfistpunch @Rusty-Vandura maybe they’ve just yoinked the cells out and are selling the casing…? Or yeah. Very stolen. Might not stop me from buying a battery for so cheap though… I’d bring a compatible tool and test it. Sometimes the batteries are fails right out of the box. My old boss and coworkers both bought Porter Cable 18V cordless drills and drivers on a close out sale. The kits came with 2 batteries. Each kit had one dead pack. The Panasonic cells inside were no good. No returns on that close out.

My boss followed through with PC and they sent him a new pack about 2-2.5 months after he mailed them the non working one. I think by that point he had already burned out the driver…

@rusty-vandura My bet is fake. I bought a $35 milwaukee battery on Ebay and it was beautifully made and "worked" but it discharged after 4 weeks of non use which a Lithium would not do.

I assume it was a ni-cd battery in a lithium shell. I learned my lesson and bought real.
