Why not have a GR version of cars that actually have an engine called GR?

Edelbrock already makes a supercharger for the 2GR. In fact, the Edelbrock supercharger is factory-installed on the Lotus Evora

Unfortunately, the Evora supercharger is not listed on Edelbrock's site, and they don't list any Toyota superchargers except the rebadged Subaru thing

Since Toyota put the 2GR into so many cars and crossovers, why not put it to good use? Toyota used to offer TRD superchargers on almost their entire lineup, from the 1ZZ Corolla to the 2AZ and 1MZ Camry, hell yeah!

The Sienna is no longer offered with a V6, but it came with the 2GR from 2006 to 2020.

Toyota GR Cressida has a nice ring to it. Just too bad it’ll never return.

@dogisbadob the problem is we'd be going down a deep expensive rabbit hole. For instance, the suspension is already overly soft/worn out for what's left of the 200+ horses it left Indiana with. Adding more without at least dialing back the body roll could be.. well, I'll put it this way, I've gotten the impression once or twice in the past that you can actually check understeer, at a vastly increased risk of rolling the damn thing..
