Well, crap.
-
Someone dinged me REAL good. Rear wheel arch and the door.
Noticeable from afar to boot.
Well anyway... That's too bad.
-
@dr-zoidberg paintless dent removal.
-
@dr-zoidberg One of the imperfections the 3 had when I got it was a fat dent in the rear wheel arch. Things like that are things you notice all the time.
-
@italia Yeah, that one looks like it should come out, at least.
-
@dr-zoidberg Some days, you just want to line your vehicle with high explosives so at least whoever dings your car pays for it as well.
-
Dings like that are so frustrating! Small enough to not be a big deal in the grand scheme of things but big enough to frustrate anyone that cares about their vehicle. The 6 has a few now. I used to get super stressed over them but not as much anymore.

Yeah I had one that size in my trunk pulled for less than $100.
-
Damn, That sucks. At least it looks like it can be pulled out. Itβll cost you $100 bucks or so. But you had that much lying around to spend anyway, right?
-
@tripper There was a similar ding on the bodyline in the door of my fiata when I took delivery, dealer fixed it at no charge to me. I think the invoice was about $112 - definitely worth looking into to keep a car nice!
-
@dr-zoidberg That sucks man. Unfortunately, I know exactly how you feel right now:
-
@dr-zoidberg Gadamn it Skeeter.
-
Time to take action.
-
@dr-zoidberg I think 90% of all dings are the result of parking down wind on a windy day and the other person opens the door and the wind catches it resulting in a ding. That is what happened to me one time and it taught me a lesson on checking the wind and parking nose to it on those days.
