I fixt the biggest glaring design problems with the Ford Maverick

With just a few simple tricks, it transforms from a girly bagged mulch mover to something much more respectable and classy.

@nermal 8/10, would be 11/10 if it was doing the Carolina Squat.

@nermal
Needs a RTT as well. -
@nermal just needs a manual trans.
-
@pip-bip Nope, because all of 3 people would buy one. I'm fine with a lot of the autos out there, I really only care about a manual option in a performance orientated car.
-
@nermal What? No Bluetooth driveshafts ?
-
@nermal only ONE lightbar?

Thank you for not being in charge of Jeep, I love my manual Gladiator

@pip-bip Looking at it from the Ford truck / SUV perspective, the closest available parts to share are the 2.3 engine, 7spd maneul, and 4x4 bits for the new Bronco. All of those parts should fit in the Ranger (or even F150) no problemo, but I don't think they would work in the Maverick because it's an FWD platform. Doubtful that they'd go to the hassle of developing something new since their trucks have all been auto-only since the old Ranger was disco'd.
I betcha the Focus RS drivetrain would fit though.
Upon further thought a Maverick with a Focus RS drivetrain would be pretty fricken' sweet.

@civicwagonengineer Gotta keep it classy. The next lighting addition would be a rollbar in the bed with a gaggle of individual lights mounted on top. Although that would certainly help with blinding oncoming traffic, it would come with the trade off of taking up valuable bed space that could be used for hauling mulch.

@zaphod-s-heart-of-gold One could argue that the focus on off-road abilities would qualify the Jeep as a performance vehicle.

One could, but should one, and would one? One would like to know.
