So I'm not the only one doing this/thinking about this I've been able to spot a few friends their exact car (or at least pretty dang close just the wrong color). I have a number of co workers cars that I'm on a mild hunt for....basically if I see it at Target or Wal Mart I'll grab it....not spending ebay money or anything like that.

In the "before times" I met a colleague in the UK who has an F type. About 6 months later another colleague was going over for a trip and I knew they'd cross paths so I sent a matchbox of it over for him. $1 and a little planning put this guy over the moon and it definitely felt good.

Highly recommended if you know people with interesting cars that may not be into diecast. It puts a smile on their face for $1
