Well Then. That Didn't Take Long.

Jumped on to the classifieds to look for things of interest. First page found this. I know its bad form to take somebody else's project, but this seems the way to go if it must be done. And for the price, I feel it must be done!

Only the one pic, and not a lot of info, but enough to want! -

I would take the easier way out and buy a Cayman. But they have some cool kits. -

-
@st80mnd Guess you'll have to buy a Boxster then, plenty of those available cheap.
-
@facw yes there are! But I don't want a boxster. I like them, but since I live in a winter city, I want hard top, and am anti- convertible lol!
-
@st80mnd Point taken, though I'm guessing that kit car will need additional funds to get it completed, and road legal.
-
@thomas-donohue Well, from the sparse info, sounds like engine is in, so maybe another 5K to complete it. If all the hard stuff is done, and all that's left is to button it up, might be well worth it .
-
@st80mnd An actual picture sure would help.

Right? Great potential, but gawd awful ad. There should be a community college course on how to make a classified ad.

-
@st80mnd of the kit is complete and it comes with some major drivetrain components it should be worth that price. The ad is sparse and poorly written but sounds like a fairly honest seller.
-
@st80mnd isn't 15k the about price for a kit without running gear? I'd say NP if -- and this is a big if -- the state of the project is clear so that you could be confident of no nasty surprises.
