If you missed out on last year's cheese that took first place in Bergamo Italy, now's your chance. Not cheap, but if you're a fan of blue cheese, this is end game.

Wow, that's a lot of cheddar for a chunk of cheese.

I get it 🙂 I've spent a LOT more than that on single malt Scotch

@gettingoldercarguy Thank you for this info...ordered. If you like paying to much for food around the holidays, may I suggest "Honeybell" oranges. They work out to something like $5 per orange... but they ship them with a bib because they are THAT juicy. They are really good.

Can I just chime in to say how much I appreciate the fact that there's a thread about cheese.

I may be lactose intolerant as a side effect of my celiac (fuck you, god), but I have a tattoo of a cheese wheel with a banner saying 'pick yer poison' for a reason.

                        the cheese is good.

@gettingoldercarguy as a kid, I thought blue cheese was the most disgusting food on earth.
As an adult, I'm trying to rationalize spending $75 on this because it looks freaking amazing.

@derpwagon ugh, my daughter hasn't had that yet, thankfully, but it's something we always keep in the back of our minds.

@williamssw Only way to rationalize it is to realize there is no rationalizing it. Emotional purchase of gluttony.

@gettingoldercarguy appreciating quality products and helping their producers thrive is not mere gluttony, it's public service to the society and also to yourself !
