First Actual Auction in a while

I typically list things as buy it now on eBay, but I felt like this model car deserved the excitement of an auction. Not sure if it'll work or not, but any extra link clicks or watches I think helps drive eBay engagement or something if you're feeling spunky.
Now, to the cool part - I picked up this MASSIVE 1/12th scale model Lotus Europa at an estate sale over the weekend. The car is over 12" long and has some incredible detail to it. I absolutely LOVE the imagery in the all Japanese instruction booklet. While I do hope it sells, it's super tempting to try to build it.

@tysmagic Thats pretty cool. If it doesn't sell, will you build it? Last year I picked up a Strombecker slot car set from the early 60's for real cheap that I was going to sell, but i just can't. I feel you may be in the same boat with this!

@st80mnd fortunately I've got nothing but time to let it sit, but if it really came down to it - I'd totally build it! I picked up the kit with an old Nissan 300zx RC car. The RC was what I really wanted to tinker with, but the combined deal made it worth picking up both imo. I maybe could have haggled the price down a bit more, but I'm fine with what I've got in the pieces individually.
Plus, my main focus right now is getting the VW pins I posted prior out the door!

Nice one! Those old Nichimo/Otaki/Tamiya 1/12 scale kits are amazing. If I hadn't already blown my hobby budget for a while...
Collector's curiosity - the RC 300ZX, is it the Tamiya one, or Kyosho?

@mark-tucker ah you have seen my post already! Ignore my comment on yours lol. Let me know if you'd like to pick it up, I'd love for it to end up in the hands of an oppo member who would really appreciate it.
As to the RC car, it is a Radio Shack Nissan 49 300zx Turbo. They left the batteries in it and corrosion consumed a small part of the control board. It is fixable, but beyond my current comfort level. I've made the acquaintance of a fellow who has volunteered to help fix it, but not sure if it's even worth it (eBay shows maybe $25/30 worth of toy). For the moment I've gone a bit "scene" with it by plopping the body down on another RC car frame (surprisingly okay fitment) that gives it a rice look with chrome wheels.
