Our dinner table is usually a no phone zone. So today, when my 18-year-old was sitting at lunch with his mom and me with his ear pods in, I asked him what he was listening to.

Son: "Sly and the Family Stone."

Me: "I'll allow it."

Sorry, didn't mean to. But I do wonder sometimes. That said, I believe that there are no good parents or bad parents. Only parents who try and ones who don't try.
