Utterly indefensible random CL shopping with JJ...and wait what's this?

(Reminder: if you're linking to CL ads, make sure to download and upload any photos, because linked images, unlike Kinja's, won't stick around longer than the Craigslist post will).
I have several saved searches that I check periodically, much less often now that I have two Jeeps and it would be stupid to add a 3rd...
But still, it's fun, right? And you never know what you'll find.
This 1994 Mustang is cheap enough that, were it a stick, I'd be tempted to check it out. Needs work, but at $2900...
How's the 5.0L V8 on these?

I do love convertibles; sadly, this too is an automatic.

Sure, it's a 4 cylinder that won't run properly...but only $1k??! And a great color to boot.
Parts alone on this should be worth more than $1k. I dropped a note to @David-Tracy in case he needs some modern(ish) hardware.

Buying another white 2004 WJ would be the acme of foolishness...but this one does have a sunroof, and I'll be in the area next week....

Now this WJ is much more sensible as an addition to my growing fleet because it's also a 4.0L, and it's black (which like white isn't actually an interesting color, but at least it's not white).

Or I could live dangerously with a flame red ZJ. Mmm, tow package.

Speaking of red, this is the real prize. This one didn't trigger an email alert because it's tagged as an auto, but it's a straight 6 4wd manual XJ. Stupid expensive but now I have to check it out.

Fortunately my email to the seller of the XJ bounced, so maybe I'll be able to refrain from visiting it. Maybe.
Postscript: because I was so surprised by the XJ, I failed to check one of my searches, and lo and behold a boxy Volvo wagon appears.
-
@just-jeepin That TJ would make a very good swap candidate!
-
The price on that XJ with those miles is criminal, even with a manual.
-
@dr-zoidberg Definitely. But hopefully they know it's criminal and I could talk them...wait stop JJ you don't need 3 Jeeps.

Torquey! Which helps make up for the relatively low hp rating (215hp/285tq in stock form). Lots of upgrade potential thanks to a strong aftermarket... And hella reliable, if you don't go too crazy with the mods.

I've got a 94 mustang GT convertible, yellow with black top with a stick. I'll bet back in the day it seemed pretty good, but now it just feels heavy. Whenever I drive it other than just mellow cruising, I just keep thinking "this thing is kind of a pig".

@xsnowpig '94-'95 SN95 weight fun facts-
GT ~200 lbs heavier than V6
Cobra ~70 lbs heavier than GT
Automatic ~70 lbs heavier than manual
Convertible ~170 lbs heavier than coupe
