@jarrett Supposed to get snow tomorrow, Iām excited for slides
-
Yeah we're expecting "major snowfall" tomorrow as well. Finally no more excessive wear on my brand new X-Ice 3s.
-
More like 6 months

@tonicipriani I wish I got the X-ices! I liked them a lot more.

Yeah, I got them on clearance last year end of season. $750 Canuck bucks all-in, and they were brand new stock.
-
@jarrett I cannot do that....I get tired of the Blizzaks immediately if theres no snow.
I think I had them on for 15 days last year at max, kept switching back to my RE71 ASAP snow was not forecasted for a week -
@tonicipriani That's a pretty competitive price for those. I last paid about $700 for a set, but they were 15s.
-
@italianjobr53 I'm obligated as part of my insurance to have them on from Dec 15-March 15. Not that I wouldn't have them on during that time anyways, because Canada.
It takes me like 90 minutes to swap tires because I am very slow when it comes to any physical labour. -
I'd have no problems if the Feds mandated 3 peak tires from Dec 1 - Mar 1, country wide. Even in Vancouver and Victoria proper we have temperatures between that period are conducive to running at the very least an All-Weather tire. We usually have at least a few snow days in which bozo go out on their cheap worn 3 seasons and cause havoc in the form of accidents and serious traffic delays.

@exage03040 yup, Quebec is mandatory. In Ontario, insurance isn't run by the province; Insurance companies usually give a discount for agreeing to run winters.
