      I drove by this place today, it is the promised land of VW busses. They do everything, subie swaps, whatever exists, they do it.

            @415s30 no shit, I used to live 3 mins from there. Place looks pretty great! To be honest my automotive adventures in the Bay Area were limited to (1) learning to ride a motorcycle and (2) almost starting a forest fire while car camping

              Oh man, that is the place of my dreams. I've always thought that if I were to become stupidrich I'd open a business like this. I'm still crazy about that particular generation of van, as evidenced by the dozens of brochures and models of this rather utilitarian vehicle, and have no logical way of explaining it.
