I went for a bike ride and took some scenic photos

But I’m leading with this wind tunnel view of a Datsun 240Z.
-
Those are stunning photos
-
Looks like a lovely day. I'm jealous.
-
Very nice.

That lakeside looks a lot safer than what I almost took pictures of again. Coming across a very recent car crash blocking a bike path.
This time in front of a police station. Minivan speeding >< import sedan pulls out = both careen directly onto the street adjacent bike path that was recently built to remove cyclists and pedestrians from this scenario. Half the force mounted up to fully block traffic from all directions. They looked so coarsely intrigued by me I opted not to pull over and compose a photo capturing all of the elements to best effect.

Ok, I know I'm missing the point and the scenic shots...but that wind tunnel pic makes 0 sense. Is it just a joke made in paint?
-
@poor_sh yes it’s a joke based on the ability of the car to suck exhaust fumes into the cabin.

I need to move back to the mountains.
What did you buy for a fatbike? I'm guessing you were planning on using for riding to work and going on little adventures like this.
-
@nomdeplume I have not bought a fatty yet. I’ll probably be on skis exclusively in 1-2 weeks, so I’ll wait and see for now.

Just need mountains where it never ever snows!
-
Dang Whitefish looks about ready to open for the winter! We've had a decent amount of snow but it keeps warming back up and melting.
-
@fttohg people have been skinning the mountain for the last two weeks and there is probably 40” of snow up top.
-
@wrong-wheel-drive It's not completely absurd to think I'd enjoy a few days in Malibu. Certainly plenty to keep me entertained between the ocean and mountain roads. My legs would certainly appreciate a temperate climate to get used to actual hills and mountains in. One my lungs weren't punished for being in. Preference is going to remain towards elevation and deep powder (OUTSIDE CORPO VILLAGE SCHLOCK).
Speaking of Malibu. No idea where you live, but I did wonder if your mountain retreat was visible at any point.

@nomdeplume he only just made it to Leo Carillo at the end. About another ten minutes down the road to where I'm at. But in the air in a straight line probably real fast. There's a bit of a hill in the way though from there to here. There is a house made from parts of a Boeing 747 though that is on top of that hill which is pretty cool.
