Did a decent svending on a couple of the cars today (sorry truck and Miata) and used the new wax for the first time. Gotta say it looks pretty good. We'll see how it holds up, and I wouldn't pay full price, but when Amazon is running a sale? Sign me up (again).

I need to get the winter coat on our vehicles. Tomorrow looks about perfect.

        How much effort for application/removal?

@huzer very little effort on and off, but a little goes a little way, if you know what I mean. Thought a gallon was an insane size that I'd never get through, but it soaks in, almost

Did you apply it wet or did you dry the car first?

@his_stigness Dry. Is wet an option?

Yes. That's kind of the whole schtick with Butter Wet Wax. You don't have to dry off the car first before applying it and allowing it to haze.

@his_stigness huh. How about that. I guess the title certainly says that. And the instructions say "clean surface" but not "dry surface". We'll chalk that up to use error.

Chemical Guy's make good stuff. For some reason I have had zero motivation to wash & wax the autos this fall.

They don't make it very clear or advertise it very well. I was using it for a long time before I discovered I could apply it wet. But I've since moved on to more advanced chemicals that can be applied to a wet car and offer more protection and more shine.
