How to Opposite Lock
-
What car this is? First reaction was a Sebring, then a Viper, but obviously not. Comments say it was in France. They can't afford decent tires but they know how to drive.
-
Jag?
-
@highlander That's what I see, too.
-
oh, too easy. Rather, too easy for you guys. Not enough pixels for me and I was thinking it was a weird French model. RWD model makes the most sense.
-
That was fairly impressive.
-
I also say Jag. Wow. That tuck driver didn't look like he lifted at all.
-
That truck driver had to be preparing for the worst, but as @krustywantout said I didn’t see any indication of a change at all.
-
@vincentmalamute F Type convertible.
-
@whoistheleader Aren't the taillights too short heightwise on the F-Type? The one in the video looked fairly tail which is why Viper popped into mind (the car in the video doesn't have any of the body curves of a Viper).
-
@krustywantout yeah, the truck driver must've calculated risks vs benefits of lifting very quickly.
Don't lift, keep control of the truck and let him hit me (NBD for the truck) vs lift and risk wiping out out the truck and trailer.
-
@vincentmalamute Very true especially since it was wet and his corrective action options were limited.
-
I'm pretty sure that the truck driver lifted. The camera car slowed down noticeably, the truck more or less along with it.
-
It's not in France, maybe Germany.
Maybe an XK cabriolet :
ps: or an XK8
-
That is absolutely an F Type. Look at the way the light bounces off the rear bumper lines and flame side surfacing. The taillights are just overexposed and blurry so they look taller.

Jag F-Type

100% F-Type V8 Convertible, like so:
