yes, we move topics around, but it’s not the same as user bumping for attention.

Even the curators don't really have a way to 'bump' posts - we can pin them to the top of the list temporarily though!

Sort of. Depends on how each user chooses to view the site. It seems that if you sort by "Newest to Oldest", any thread/topic with recent activity will be bumped to the top. Sorting by "Topics: Newest to Oldest", on the other hand, is more like Kinja's chronological order that allowed new posts to push older posts off of the front page ("front page" meaning the front page of Oppo).
