Sherman, set the WABAC Machine for the mid-1980s.
The car is a Porsche 924, and the plane is a Gulfstream Commander Fanjet 1500. The Commander was the unholy union between the Gulfstream American Hustler (really?) mixed propulsion biz jet concept and the Gulfstream Peregrine 600 jet trainer. Only one was ever built.

I'm also trying to imagine the conversation in the top photo. "I'm sorry, guys, but you're not all going to fit."

That plane is so 80s it hurts . I need one.
-

-

I'll take AoA-related engine-outs for $500, Alex.
-
@patbateman $1.2M seems like a pretty good price. But the depreciation is hell.
-
@patbateman It doesn't list the engine hours which typically means they need overhauls. The overhauls cost abot $300,000 to $500,000 per engine. Just like buying a depreciated luxury car, the purchase price is just the beginning of the true cost of ownership.
-
@krustywantout Well shit. I figured that the price PLUS a new paint job was too good to be true.
-
@patbateman you can probably get a used 737-700 for less. More room for activities and a food supply chain for parts.
