@pip-bip The longer I think about it, the more I appreciate how the Cobra was a badass little race car. Take a small roadster, put a new lightweight V8 into it, and install as much tire as you can fit onto it and you have a potent race machine.

@pip-bip I saw that on Tumblr yesterday, gonna take it out of my random now. You and one other guy like my M37 pictures that I archive on there. I've found some really rare pics lately. I keep wondering how much longer I can keep finding them. I buy real pics from dealers on ebay which should keep going as people's attics are emptied.

It's a well-publicised factoid that the Miura's engine/gearbox position was inspired on the Mini's. So much so that for a long time in their production run the engine oil was shared with the gearbox... just as in a Mini.
